first off, it had nothing to do with source code, and I don’t think you could edit or compile it. That being said, there was a scene where the woman who was al—not in the source code gave the guy that was a hand of cards, then more information, then to rearrange the cards in descending order, disregarding suit. This part reminded me of defining a set of variables, and then telling the computer to rearrange them (like in actual code.)
Then towards the end, there was this whole thing where there were like two realities and then he and but and…. never-mind. I can’t explain it, and neither could the movie. I’m sure there’s a director’s cut that is 20 minutes longer and explains everything more betterer, but yeah. It didn’t make sense.
And again, I’m sure they chose the name source code just because it sounds cool, and not as a reference to actual source code, or computer programming because there was none. Yeah.
